After 40+ years as a professional Body man Painter, Yvon found himself out of work thanks to the COVID-19 virus, so home reno projects kept him busy.

After creating two live edge wood projects in his own home, Yvon began receiving requests from friends and acquaintances for custom pieces, including several Wedding Guest Log Tables.

This early interest encouraged him to experiment with various epoxy techniques and styles. Before long, he established Pa’s Pieces, specializing in custom live edge and epoxy creations.

Yvon has since crafted a wide range of pieces, including countertops, bars, charcuterie boards, lazy Susans, wave boards, centerpieces, decorative Christmas trees, bird houses, bat houses, and butterfly houses.

Many of his designs incorporate unique elements such as Lake Erie beach glass, shells, and other meaningful trinkets from East Coast travels, tailored to each customer’s vision.
