Meet the Honourees

About the Cultural Hall of Fame

From Robertson Davies and Sylvia Tyson to Shae-Lynn Bourne and Michelle Wright, the novels, poems, music, images, dance steps, and performances born along the banks of the Thames River have influenced Canadian culture and beyond.

Individuals honoured in the Cultural Hall of Fame are also builders, teachers, mentors, and passionate artistes who also invested their talents in Chatham-Kent. They built, and continue to nurture, CK’s unique cultural landscape while shaping the next generation of arts practitioners.

Each year we gather to honour inductees selected from six categories:

• Cultural Builders

• Dance

• Literary Arts

• Music

• Theatre Arts

• Visual Arts

Each recipient is displayed on a plaque in the Cultural Hall of Fame located in the Chatham Cultural Centre outside Studio One - 75 William Street N,. Chatham, ON.
