Wilma Sonneveld
Wilma Sonneveld-Wright discovered weaving after retiring from a career in education. She attended a session with the Southwestern Basketry Guild in Chatham and was hooked on making baskets. The following year, she participated in a weeklong class at Kawartha Weaving - Textile and Fiber Arts Studio where she learned to weave textiles on floor looms.
Wilma resides in Ridgetown with her family and 2 dogs. When not weaving baskets and textiles, Wilma and her husband enjoy traveling.
