Ruth Reeb

Following studies at Ontario College of Art and Design, University of Windsor (Fine Arts) and St. Clair College, ranging over more than four decades, the pursuance to accomplish and master, continues.

Having participated in many Ontario based shows, and various gallery exhibits, I have remained involved in the local arts community in various capacities. From teaching my discipline, to promoting fellow artists, I strive to live what I love.

Through a visual language ,using colour, form and line , each piece becomes a part of the journey , allowing the audience to look within and beyond the surface. Tactile pieces flavoured with woven collage fragments , and impasto applications reveal a narrative to be closely examined. Maintaining a level of authenticity and originality , using reputable methods incorporating personal style , remain the motivation for my work.
