The Mudlarks’ philosophy is simple: unserious pottery. Sisters Amber and Paige create handmade ceramics that blend playful fun with serious craftsmanship, resulting in "dopamine decor" for the home. Inspired by the whimsy of nature and a healthy dose of silliness, their work is built on the belief that life is far too short for boring mugs.

They believe everyday objects should carry the same creative energy as a piece of art hanging on a wall. Their goal is to bridge that gap, creating items that are practical enough for daily use but distinctive enough to stand alone as sculptural works.

What sets Mudlarks apart is the intentionality behind the details. Rather than using simple glazes, they hand-paint, carve, or sculpt every individual form. The "maker’s hand" is visible in every brushstroke and carving mark, serving as a reminder of the human touch behind the craft. Because of this meticulous process, no two items are ever identical; each is a "one-of-one" creation.

The sisters obsess over the little things—from how the piece feels in your hands to the surprise detail hidden on the bottom of a piece. Ultimately, Mudlarks aims to make people smile, fostering a handmade connection and a spark of joy in every day.
