Hello, my name is Matthew Elijah Thompson from Bkejwanong & Chippewa First Nations, I am a self-taught artist working with visual arts. My skills and inspiration have been generously passed down from my family and ancestors who guided me, my traditional upbringing, training through a graphic design program and my travels through the West Coast. 

I would like to give back to my community and progress my skills through my visual creations and potentially initiate my own business, offering opportunities for others to be inspired. I want to tell stories through my art and show appreciation to where the water divides.
