Lenny Peters

I am an Anishinaabe aspiring artist born in Sarnia, Ontario, and raised on Walpole Island. From an early age I drew and doodled as much as I could. If the place I was visiting at the time didn't have loose leaf paper, I would find napkins or paper towels on which to draw. I've been struggling with mental health issues (ADHD, OCD, psychosis) most of my life, so it's not a big shock I found solace in artwork. In my late teens I fell out of visual arts and slowly got into creative writing (prose mainly) through exposure to the works of high fantasy creators such as Tolkien, Rowling, and such films and TV series as Star Wars, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, etc. and I was even inspired by video gaming. I wish to combine the two into comic books/graphic novels, and I also want to do digital work as well, in the form of comedic and informational videos on YouTube and possible daily(?) live streams on Twitch.tv. So, I guess, my business name would be my YouTube and Twitch username "flyforever9003." I really want to do high fantasy, but also wish to do science fiction, horror, mystery, and maybe even nonfiction stories about my lifetime and upbringing.
