Jackie Deane-Couture – From My Hands to Yours

Jackie has been making functional and non-functional stoneware pottery since 1999, using hand building and wheel thrown methods.

Her tagline “from my hands to yours” indicates her love of creating and sharing her craft made in her small rural studio.  She is inspirated by texture and colour that is reflected in most of her creations, and believes her pieces can be functional and displayed as home décor when not in use. 

Jackie has been teaching hand building techniques at the Cultural Centre in Chatham, ON sharing her knowledge and skills to beginner and intermediate students.  

She is local to Chatham and sells her hand made, one-of-a kind artisan pieces through local CK retailers, CK art markets and on-line
