I have been an on again off again hobby potter for over 20 years creating unique, one-of-a-kind functional pieces mostly for family and friends. I have taken many classes from local artist Linda Leigh throughout these years. My preferred choice is creating with clay slabs though I do wheel work occasionally all in my basement studio. Since recently retiring I would like spend more time honing the skills I have acquired and expanding my knowledge from other artists.. I would also like to begin promoting myself and the art of clay more extensively and meet other like minded artists in the area. My experience with shows/sales is limited to twice being invited to Linda Leigh’s annual Christmas Show and Sale. I’m hoping to broaden my recognition and have more people see my work.
