Carrie Rose

Carrie picked up an artist brush in 2016 and has never looked back. She has developed her craft through online tutorials, artist instructed webinars, and in person workshops. She has exhibited through the area including a solo show and multiple group exhibits. She had gallery representation through The Studio Art Gallery from April 2023 through August 2025.

She is one of the founding members of PAACK (Plein Air Artists Chatham-Kent) who with like minded artists meet to take their love of the landscape and scenery outdoors throughout Chatham-Kent to capture a visual story of our towns and rural areas. It is often challenging but every painting tells a story of a moment in time. She also enjoys painting figurative and portraits occasionally. She paints mostly in oils nowadays but enjoys acrylics and dabbles in watercolours and gouche as well.
