Bernie Hrytzak

Bernie is an artist from Chatham, Ont. who uses wood in his creations and employs a lathe to spin the pieces into artistic sculptures such as vases, whimsical musical instruments, or whimsical characters. His endeavours include development of the processes necessary to create original designs in wood. He has been following his passions since 2006 when he purchased a lathe and joined the Thames Valley Woodturners in London, Ont. Bernie also belongs to the American Association of Woodturners, a club of 16,000 members worldwide.
